A trio of the unexpected……

 

Playing together since 2021, these three seasoned musicians combined their musical backgrounds and through the collective haze of many musical evenings jamming together in a remote cabin nestled in the woods overlooking Digby Gut in southwest Nova Scotia, The Fog was born. With an eclectic repertoire that includes covers from Sinatra to Sublime and just about anything in between, as well as a growing catalogue of original material,  these three have created a unique sound.

 
 

"My name is Scott Henderson. My wife, Dawn Oman, and I are co-owners of the Dawn Oman Art Gallery in Bridgetown Nova Scotia. We own an 1872 deconsecrated church building. We have been hosting musicians of all genres in our sanctuary, turned music venue, since 2017.
We have had the joy and a pleasure of hosting Richard, Gwen and Gary, a.k.a. “The Fog“ on several occasions over the past five years. They have also rented our space to do a recording session.
Richard, Gwen and Gary are the kind of performers that know how to engage the audience and include them in the performance. Not only are they great musicians, capable of presenting covers and original music in their own special way, they seem to exude a love for being on the stage and giving their audience something to take home with them. We're here for vacation, doing a round tour through Nova Scotia. For three nights we're staying in Annapolis Royal. I guess, we picked the right days.
Today we did a Whale Watching Tour, visited the Balancing Rock, and now The Fog live on stage in the Brewery.

May Daze

Well THAT was a time!! Three great shows culminating with our Bearly's debut….it's great to be back on the roads again!!! This coming weekend we are drifting in the opposite direction, all the way down to beautiful Brier Island, where we will be entertaining the folks at The Grandview on Brier, the fabulous restaurant attached to Brier Island Lodge in Westport. Enjoy a scenic drive down Digby Neck, cross from East Ferry to Tiverton on the half hour, take in the sights as you head down Long Island to Freeport and catch the second ferry on the hour. Two short and free ferry rides and you're there!
